About the role
The Sr. Worldwide Specialist – GenAI for Amazon Quick is a strategic business development leadership position within the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Generative AI team. This role is responsible for driving customer adoption, market positioning, and go-to-market strategy for Amazon Quick's generative AI capabilities across enterprise and mid-market customers in Japan.


Key job responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Adoption
• Drive adoption of Amazon Quick's GenAI capabilities (Amazon Q Business, Q Developer, and AI-powered analytics) with key enterprise and mid-market customers
• Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and technical leaders, helping them understand how generative AI transforms business intelligence, data analytics, and decision-making
• Develop and execute customer engagement strategies that accelerate proof-of-concept to production deployment
• Build deep relationships with customers across industries (financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, etc.) to understand their GenAI challenges and opportunities
Market Positioning & Messaging
• Develop positioning, messaging, and value propositions for Amazon Quick relative to competitive alternatives
• Create and refine sales plays, customer case studies, and industry-specific use cases that demonstrate Quick's GenAI capabilities
• Track market evolution and competitive landscape; provide insights to product and marketing teams on market trends and customer needs
• Synthesize customer and partner feedback to inform product roadmap prioritization and service evolution
Sales Enablement & Team Leadership
• Educate and enable regional AI/ML specialists, account teams, and sales organizations on Amazon Quick's GenAI capabilities, assets, and go-to-market strategies
• Develop training materials, workshops, and enablement content for sales teams
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Technical Account Managers to support complex customer engagements
• Mentor junior specialists and build a high-performing specialist team
Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem
• Engage with system integrators, consulting partners, and technology partners to co-develop solutions and accelerate customer adoption
• Identify partnership opportunities and develop joint go-to-market strategies
• Present to partner audiences at industry events and summits
• Build and maintain relationships with key industry analysts and thought leaders
Business Development & Growth
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities for Amazon Quick's GenAI capabilities
• Develop industry-specific strategies and vertical-focused initiatives
• Track key metrics: customer adoption, pipeline generation, revenue influence, and market share
• Contribute to quarterly business reviews and strategic planning with leadership
- 5+ years of working with Advanced Compute technologies including, but not limited to: Accelerated Compute, High Performance Compute, Visual/Spatial Compute, and/or IoT. experience
- Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
- Experience engaging with and influencing C-level executives
- Travel up to 30% of the time
- 6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or technical roles in enterprise software, cloud services, or AI/ML solutions
- Proven track record of driving customer adoption and revenue growth for complex, innovative technology solutions
- Fluency in both Japanese and English
