Data Science Manager, Procurement

Amazon's Global Procurement Organization is on a mission to transform how procurement works at Amazon scale. We build the technology that powers billions of dollars in purchasing decisions, and We're looking for a Data Science Manager to lead the delivery of technical solutions and programs focused on inventory management of non-inventory supplies across Amazon's global operations. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology, operations, and business strategy — where your work directly influences how Amazon procures and manages supplies at scale. - 5+ years of building quantitative solutions as a scientist or science manager experience
- 2+ years of scientists or machine learning engineers management experience
- 5+ years of applying statistical models for large-scale application and building automated analytical systems experience
- PhD in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field
- Knowledge of Python or R or other scripting language
