Join our WW Promotions Data and Insights team, where you'll have the opportunity to continuously improve the systems that enable Amazon's promotional strategies across every major shopping event worldwide.
This role requires a hands-on engineer, with high learn and be curious, that is able to invest, simplify, and deliver for their customers. We are looking for a person with broad analytical abilities, that is customer and delivery-focused, and a has a track record of earning your customers and peer’s trust. To be successful in this role, you will need strong business intelligence experience and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key job responsibilities
1. Support business intelligence for your business and its customers.
2. Develop, build, and deliver analytical reporting, models and business strategy
3. Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and formulate conclusions and recommendations to be presented to senior leadership.
4. Leverage LLMs to generate Insights and drive growth discussions with Product teams.
5. Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders that will help shape effective metric development and reporting.
6. Continuously invent, simplify, and automate your products, tools, services, and methodologies.
7. Improving back-end data sources for increased accuracy and simplicity.
8. Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting, analyses, data quality and modeling.

Promotions reinforce a positive perception of Amazon’s price leadership with shoppers by complementing our everyday great prices with time-bound discounts on a broad selection of high-quality products. For Selling Partners (SPs), promotions create incremental demand for their products and increase their share of voice, clear inventory, and drive traffic to new selection. WW Promotions owns the sourcing and execution of promotions at Amazon and we are their data & analytics team. We serve as the central stewards of promotions data, delivering trusted and governed datasets that power product development, machine learning models, and business analytics across the organization. - 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- 2+ years of Tableau Desktop, Quicksight or other relevant data visualization software experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Experience using SQL (Structured Query Language) to pull data from a database or data warehouse
- Experience using Python scripting to process data for modeling
