As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, we have a vision to provide business applications, leveraging Amazon's unique experience and expertise, that are used by millions of companies worldwide to manage day-to-day operations. We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers' businesses through delivery of intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges. We blend vision with curiosity and Amazon's real-world experience to build opinionated, turnkey solutions. Where customers prefer to buy over build, we become their trusted partner with solutions that are no-brainers to buy and easy to use.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. Millions of customers — including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies — trust AWS to power their infrastructure, become more agile, and lower costs.
AWS is hiring a Technical Trainer to join the Training and Certification (T&C) team in Stockholm, Sweden. In this role, you will deliver training to developers, administrators, architects, and partners to accelerate adoption of AWS infrastructure services. You will combine a passion for teaching with deep technical knowledge to drive measurable learning outcomes and build strong customer relationships.
Key job responsibilities
- Shape the strategy and mission of the AWS training program.
- Develop and maintain technical training content, lab exercises, presentations, and supporting materials.
- Deliver instructor-led classroom training to end-user customers and partners on a regular schedule.
- Partner with key vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate and effective.
- Mentor and develop internal and external authorized trainers through the Train-the-Trainer program.
A day in the life
You will start the day facilitating an instructor-led AWS technical training session for a cohort of customer developers and architects, guiding them through hands-on lab exercises on core AWS services. Between delivery sessions, you will collaborate with content developers to review, update, and tailor course materials, ensuring technical accuracy reflects the latest AWS service releases. You will work alongside the T&C team in Stockholm, working back from the customer and shaping their training requirements into learning programs. No two days are identical: one week you may deliver foundational cloud training to a new enterprise customer in Stockholm; the next, you may be supporting a cohort of learners working towards their first AWS exam.
About the team
You will join the AWS Training and Certification (T&C) EMEA Delivery team — a group of experienced technical trainers and instructional designers focused on accelerating cloud adoption across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The team operates at the intersection of technology, education, and customer success, working directly with enterprise customers, public-sector organizations, and AWS Partners. As part of a globally connected T&C organization, you will have access to a broad network of subject-matter experts, curriculum resources, and professional development opportunities to continuously raise the bar on training quality. - - Technical degree (e.g. Computer Science) or equivalent work experience.
- - Substantial experience in programming, systems architecture, or systems administration.
- - Experience delivering classroom training for technology products or services.
- - Excellent oral presentation, interpersonal communication, and writing skills.
- - Recent experience architecting, deploying, and operating internet-scale applications.
- - Recent coding experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, .NET, Perl, PHP, Ruby, or Python.
- - Experience with Windows and Linux at the command line.
- - Proven ability to manage a classroom of adult learners with confidence and engagement.
